Where a few Working Equitation NZ sheets disagree with themselves
Preliminary Flatwork Test (2026) is not included
Its sheet marks 15 movements with six at x2 (2, 7, 8, 9, 13 and 14), which comes to 210, but prints a judges' total of 200 and a maximum of 260. Rather than guess which figure is right, it will be added once the sheet is corrected.

How many marks is an error of course under Working Equitation NZ rules?
Under Working Equitation NZ rules the first error of course costs 2 marks, the second a further 4, and the third error means elimination. Marks come off the sheet total before the percentage is worked out.
That is the rule in the errors line printed on every WENZ flatwork sheet (Effective 1 August 2026 (V2.0)), and the calculator applies it automatically. Rules get revised, so where your rule book or sheet differs, the sheet is right.
