For clubs and organisers

Link straight to a test.

Any test in the calculator has its own address, so a schedule, a club system or a message to a rider can open the right sheet already built. Nothing needs to be installed and there is no key to apply for.

Open one test

Add the federation code and the test name to the address:

https://dressagetestcalc.com/?fed=BD&test=preliminary-2-2024

The test part is simply the name as printed, in lower case with the spaces and brackets turned into hyphens, so Preliminary 2 (2024) becomes preliminary-2-2024. Every test name on a federation page is already a link of this shape, so the easiest way to find one is to open that federation's page and copy the link from the test you want. When a test is open in the calculator the address bar always shows its link, so you can simply copy what is there, or use the Copy link button on the sheet.

Open a federation without choosing a test

https://dressagetestcalc.com/?fed=BD opens the picker with that federation's tests loaded and nothing chosen yet.

Fill in the rider and horse

Add &rider= and &horse= to name the sheet, which is useful if your system already knows who is riding:

https://dressagetestcalc.com/?fed=BD&test=preliminary-2-2024&rider=Sophie&horse=Emilio

Those two are removed from the address bar the moment the page reads them. A person's name in a URL outlives the moment it was useful: it sits in browser history, travels in a screenshot, and would otherwise appear in our visitor statistics. Marks are never stored or sent anywhere either.

If you have typed a name into the calculator yourself, a Copy link button appears in the corner of the score box, and the link it gives you does include the names, because that is a link you asked for rather than one we wrote behind you. Either way, a link with somebody's name in it is like any other message carrying their details: send it with the same care.

Federation codes

One code per federation, with a live example for each. The full list of that federation's tests is on its own page.

If something does not match

An unknown federation code or test name is ignored rather than treated as an error: the calculator simply opens as normal, so a link that goes stale still works as a link to the calculator. Test names change when a federation reissues a test, so if you are storing links, store the federation code and the test name your system already holds and build the address when you need it.

This is a free tool and these addresses are offered in good faith for clubs, organisers and anyone building something useful around it. They are not a paid service and carry no uptime promise. Only the structure of each test is held here, never the wording of a sheet, which remains the copyright of the body that publishes it.
