Where a few Working Equitation Canada sheets disagree with themselves
Children Level (2024) is not included
Its sheet marks 9 movements with 4 and 7 at x2 and collective marks worth 8, which comes to 190, but prints a maximum of 180. Rather than guess which figure is right, it will be added once the sheet is corrected.
Working Equitation Canada scoring, answered.
How many marks is an error of course under Working Equitation Canada rules?
Under Working Equitation Canada rules the first error of course costs 5 marks, the second a further 5, and the third error means elimination. Marks come off the sheet total before the percentage is worked out.
That is the rule in the WECan Competition Rules, s.5.6 and Table 5-2 (2026-01-01 00:00:00), and the calculator applies it automatically. Rules get revised, so where your rule book or sheet differs, the sheet is right.
Which Working Equitation Canada tests does the calculator include?
7 current tests, covering L1 Introductory, L2 Novice A, L3 Novice B, L4 Intermediate A, L5 Intermediate B, L6 Advanced and L7 Masters (WAWE), each listed above with its movement count, coefficient movements, collective marks and the maximum printed on the sheet. Every maximum was checked against the published sheet before it shipped.
