How many marks is an error of course under NWHA rules?
Under NWHA rules the first error of course costs 2 marks, the second a further 4, the third a further 8, and the fourth error means elimination. Marks come off the sheet total before the percentage is worked out.
That is the rule in the NWHA Versatility Rules, Sections 3.2.10 / 3.3.9 (2026), and the calculator applies it automatically. Rules get revised, so where your rule book or sheet differs, the sheet is right.
