How many marks is an error of course under Irish Pony Club rules?
Under Irish Pony Club rules the first error of course costs 2 marks, the second a further 4, the third a further 8, and the fourth error means elimination. Marks come off the sheet total before the percentage is worked out.
That is the rule in the IPC Pure Dressage & Combined Training Rules, Section 6.7 (2026 (Nov 2025)), and the calculator applies it automatically. Rules get revised, so where your rule book or sheet differs, the sheet is right.
