Prix Caprilli
Dressage with jumps: each fence is a movement marked out of 10. Knockdowns and refusals count as errors of course: 2 marks for the first, 5 for the second, elimination on the third, as the Test 1 sheet prints; three refusals at one jump also eliminate.
Not included yet
Prix Caprilli Test 2 (Training Level), whose movements and collectives come to 250 but whose sheet prints 260, and the 2016 Tests #1 and #2, which also disagree with their printed maxima. The rest of HCBC's dressage documents are USEF and WDAA tests, carried under those bodies, and driving tests.

How many marks is an error of course under Horse Council BC rules?
Under Horse Council BC rules the first error of course costs 2 marks, the second a further 5, and the third error means elimination. Marks come off the sheet total before the percentage is worked out.
Only Test 1's sheet prints the amounts; the same rule is applied to Test 3. Three refusals at one jump also eliminate.
That is the rule in the errors line printed on HCBC's Prix Caprilli Test 1 sheet (2026 sheets), and the calculator applies it automatically. Rules get revised, so where your rule book or sheet differs, the sheet is right.
